ARIS is a complete online tutorial, electronic homework and course management system.

Online ChemSkill Builder is a robust web-based electronic homework and tutorial application with over 1500 algorithmically-generated questions for general chemistry. Online ChemSkill Builder allows instructors to easily assign algorithmically generated homework problems to students.

McGraw-Hill's Connect

Connect (formerly Homework Manager) is an online application containing the end-of-chapter material from your McGraw-Hill textbook. Instructors can create online based homework assignments for students, and Homework Manager will automatically grade them and provide feedback.

Connect is used in Economics.

For Literature:

ARIEL CD-ROM

ARIEL is an interactive CD-ROM featuring 28 interactive author casebooks (biographies, interactive texts, timelines, and bibliographies related to a single writer) and including a collection of readings of poems, dramatizations of stories, and brief video lectures by McGraw-Hill authors and other experts. Complete cross-references in the text indicate which authors are featured on ARIEL.

ARIEL is packaged with the Student Edition of Literature books.


For Language Arts courses:

Catalyst

Catalyst 2.0 is a collaborative, assisted writing environment designed to help students improve their academic writing and research skills.

The online resources also include interactive tutorials, streaming video and audio, an integrated gradebook, instructor assignable learning activities, electronic writing tutors, a bibliomaker and more than 4,500 writing and grammar exercises.

For Math courses:

MathZone

MathZone is a complete, online tutorial and course management system for mathematics and statistics.

MathZone courses are designed for specific textbooks, but teachers can customize questions and algorithms, import content, create announcements and due dates for assignments. MathZone has automatic grading and reporting of easy-to-assign algorithmically generated homework, quizzing and testing.

ALEKS

ALEKS is a web-based, artificially intelligent assessment and learning system. ALEKS uses adaptive questioning to quickly and accurately determine exactly what a student knows and doesn't know in a course. ALEKS then instructs students on the topics they are most ready to learn.

For most courses

EZ Test

EZ Test allows teachers to create tests from book specific test banks and write their own questions. The software is available on CD-ROM or in newer programs exclusively online. With EZ Test Online, the test can be printed or given to students online.
