Chapter 12: Order, Credit, and Collection Messages
Chapter Summary
Orders are the lifeblood of any organization. Without orders for its products and/or services, a business organization cannot survive. In Chapter 12 you will learn that an order presents additional opportunities for building goodwill beyond the simple delivery of the product ordered.
Products and services may be ordered by one of several methods: order forms, letters, telephone, fax, and the Internet. In this chapter you will examine messages that deal with placing orders, writing order letters, acknowledging orders, buying on credit, refusing credit, and collecting payments.
The Chapter 12 online resources will strengthen and reinforce your study of the chapter content. Begin by choosing one of the chapter links.
