    Product Description
    Language Tune-Up Kit is a CD-ROM software program designed to teach reading to adults, specifically those who place at a 0-4 grade level. The program follows the Orton-Gillingham approach, teaching students to read via three learning modalities: visual, auditory, and tactile-kinesthetic.

    Features:
    • For each computer station there is a Card Deck, a spiral-bound pack of numbered cards that serve as memory tools to remind students of the sounds of letters and blends they have already learned.
    • Students have the opportunity to say each new word, record it, replay it, and compare their pronunciation to the correct pronunciation already recorded in the program.
    • The program is self-paced.
    • An extensive Instructor's Management System is included which maintains student records (including time-on-task), records by group or individual, and indicates where students need additional instruction.
