    Features:
Applying AutoCAD® 2002 has been divided into two textbooks for ease of use. The student texts are keyed to the latest version of the AutoCAD® software. Applying AutoCAD® 2002 reflects the latest improvements to the AutoCAD® software. For example:
    • The Fundamentals book includes updated/new information about the AutoCAD® “Today” window (see, for example, Ch. 1); the Help feature (Ch. 7); file and folder navigation (Ch. 8); arrays (Ch. 16); hatching & sketching (Ch. 20); template files (Ch. 21); blocks (Ch. 31); and attributes (Ch. 33).
    • The Advanced book includes updated/new information about User Coordinate Systems (Ch. 4); creating a toolbar (Ch.19); creating a library (Ch. 20); and linking a document to AutoCAD (Ch. 27). There are two new chapters: Ch. 29, “Internet Connectivity,” and Ch. 30, “Internet Collaboration,” which cover such features as As DWF files, AutoDesk Point A, and Publish to Web.
    • Both books include information on the AutoCAD® Standards Checker (in Appendix B).
