Destination Title: Chaudoc, Vietnam

Directions
Start at the Chaudoc, Vietnam photo essay Web page.

  • Read the introduction on this first page, and then click on the topics At Work, People, The Water, Children, Places, and Misc. to view the photographs pertaining to each topic.
  • From each topic, use the small arrows at the bottom of the screen to view the next picture or return to the previous picture. Make sure to read the caption accompanying each photo.

Using the information you gathered from this site, answer the following questions.

1.  From the photo essay, what general statements can you make about the way the people of Chaudoc get around or travel?

2.  What are the ethnic minorities in and around Chaudoc? What distinguishes these people from the Vietnamese majority?
