Introduction
About 750,000 Texans served in World War II. As you learned in Chapter 23, Texans on the home front anxiously waited for news about relatives and friends fighting overseas. Texans at home had to make sacrifices in other ways, too. In this activity, you will take a closer look at the impact of World War II on Texans at home.
