1.  What were the main German reactions to the Treaty of Versailles?


2.  How did Italians respond to the treaty?


3.  What was the role of the news media in the rise of Mussolini and Hitler?


4.  How did both Hitler and Mussolini take power by legal means?


5.  Using a separate piece of paper, compare and contrast in a brief essay the rise of fascism in Italy and Germany. Be sure to include evidence from your textbook and the Web site to support your position.
