In this activity you will take a closer look at the composition and duties of the Texas legislature.

- Under "House of Representatives," click on Speaker of the House. Read the introduction of this person, and then click on and read Powers and Duties of the Speaker of the House.
- Return to the main screen. Under "Senate," click on Lieutenant Governor. Read the introduction, and then click on and read Duties and Powers.
- Return to the main screen once more. Under "Legislative Information," click on Legislative Process. In the menu that appears, click on Diagram of Legislative Process.
