Film TV Art Director
Description of Responsibilities
Film/TV art directors develop design ideas for sets, props, costumes, and locations. To do so, they review scripts and envision how everything will look on film or television. Art directors start with sketches and then develop them into full-color renderings. They oversee the set, prop, and costume design process to keep the art team on track. Film/TV art directors may manage set designers, prop masters, and costume designers as well as work with them in developing design plans.
