Eleven: Retirement
Dreams
After
working fifty years, Ophelia and Jorge retired. They had planned
to retire ten years earlier, but realized that they hadn’t
prepared as well as they should have for their retirement
years. Now they are living on their savings, a small pension,
and social security. At age 66, Ophelia and Jorge will probably
live at least 20 more years. They are healthy and active.
One of their worries however, is how to make their savings
and pension last the rest of their lives. They want to travel
and visit their grandchildren who live all over the United
States.
