Stock Market Game,
a real-world simulation that teaches about economics, finance,
and the American economic system, can be found at www.smg2000.org.
Over the course of 10 weeks, participants invest a hypothetical
$100,000 in NASDAQ, AMEX, and NYSE-listed common stocks. They
research stocks, study how the financial markets work, choose
their portfolios, manage budgets, follow companies in the
news, and make decisions on whether to buy, sell, or hold.

The Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy seeks
to improve the personal financial literacy of young adults.
Its purpose is to evaluate the financial literacy of young
adults; develop, disseminate, and encourage the use of guidelines
for grades K-12; and promote the teaching of personal finance.
