Chapter 3: Satisfaction - At What Cost?

Daryla and David have been best friends since elementary school. Recently, they both started new jobs. Daryla works as an advertising representative for a major firm in New York. She is thrilled with her paycheck—she can eat out several nights a week and has a great apartment in the city. However, she hasn't had a weekend off in two months, the people she works with are not very friendly, and the stress of the job is really starting to get to her. David works as a fund-raising manager of a non-profit organization located in North Carolina. Although he is not particularly thrilled with his paycheck, he works with people who are fun and interesting. In addition, David has already been able to implement his own idea for a charity event and strongly believes in what he is doing.
