Chapter 11: How Contracts Come to an End

Chapter Overview: Ready to Learn?
When contracts come to an end, they are discharged. Contracts can be discharged by performance, meaning the parties fulfilled the terms of the contract, or by agreement, meaning that both parties mutually agree to end their contract. Sometimes contracts become legally impossible to perform and can be discharged. Other times, the death or illness of a party to a contract may discharge it. In this chapter, you will have the opportunity to learn about how and why contracts end.
