You may legally transfer the rights under any contract to which you have agreed, unless the contract specifically says you can’t. The transfer of a right under a contract is called an assignment. Duties may also be transferred. This transfer of a duty is called a delegation. A breach of contract occurs when one party to a contract fails to perform the duties set out in the terms of the agreement.
