Future Business Leaders of America
The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the high school division of a large organization called the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL). In addition to its work with high school students who are preparing for business careers, FBLA has special programs for college students, teachers, and active business people.
The FBLA sponsors a series of Competitive Events, including contest examinations, performance events, entrepreneurship events, and projects. The FBLA contest examinations are given locally and regionally. The highest scores are selected to go on to state and national competitions.
Competitive Events fall into three categories: individual, team, and chapter events. Individual and team events focus on skills useful in leadership and career development; chapter events recognize overall achievement and performance in chapter management and growth.
