This blackline master collection includes tests that will supplement those provided in a basal text. There are four tests at each level.- Compatibility. Vocabulary, language structures, and language functions correspond to what is presented in basal textbooks.
- Realia. Reading is presented in a variety of formats, including charts, graphs, timetables, letters, recipes, and newspaper articles.
- Review. Some intermediate-level questions are recycled at the advanced level.

There are four tests at each level. Two audiocassettes accompany each book of tests. Tapescripts and answer keys are included for each test.- Native speakers read each test item.
- Realia. Graphics, including pictures, signs, and charts, are part of many test items. Students are asked to identify, label, or arrange the graphics.
- Writing assessment. In addition to spoken stimuli, most items include written material on the worksheets.
