The Internet Public Library is the first public library of the Internet. Librarians at the University of Michigan run the service. They find, evaluate, select, organize, describe, and create quality information resources. It contains a directory of thousands of online texts, browsable and searchable by author, title, and Dewey Decimal system. You can ask a reference question, relax in the reading room, or search the catalog.
