Successful Communication
For successful communication, before stating your views,
be sure you understand what the speaker has said:
- Ask for additional information
- Paraphrase (Say in your own words)
- What you think you heard
- Admit when you don't understand
- Try to stay calm
- Focus your attention and stay tuned in
- Be specific in your response and use "I" statements
