The Asian Pacific Fund sponsors this annual contest for San Francisco-area youths. Asian students of all ages are encouraged to create artwork or write essays on a particular theme, and winners in each age group receive savings bonds as awards. Visit the site to view the winners' efforts for the most recent year. Select the high school winner whose work you most admire and write a letter explaining why you enjoyed his or her work.
