On the Road?
On Christmas Day 1998, the highly regarded Newshour with Jim Lehrer featured a story about inadequate housing for migrant workers. The transcript of the story, reported out of Seattle, has been archived online. With a small group of classmates, make a list of how you would research and develop solutions to the problems faced by migrant workers. What further information would need? Where could you get that information? Whom would you contact to help you? Make an oral presentation to the class outlining your ideas.
