Isak Dinesen's book Out of Africa tells the story of the years she spent living on a coffee plantation in Kenya. At this site you will find the beginning of the book accompanied by some photographs of the beautiful Kenyan landscape. Recall a time when you experienced the feeling of belonging that Blixen expresses in the line "Here I am, where I ought to be." Write a personal essay about that experience, using this same line as the title.
