Creation/Migration/Origin Stories
This site devoted to Native American origin tales lets you imagine what it was like to sit around a campfire and listen to the elders tell stories. With a partner, take the role of storyteller and select a tale to read aloud to the class. Make an impression on your audience by varying the tone and pitch of your voice and by using gestures and simple props.

Folk Tales
Learn about the Nigerian art of storytelling at this site, which features several folktales. Read "Anansi and the Turtle" and "Magic Anansi." Then write a paragraph in the Web Links Activity Log, comparing and contrasting these two folktales with "All Stories Are Anansi’s."
