Creating the Sounds of Nature
This site describes the tricks and props that Foley artists used to create the sound effects for the television documentary The Snow Wolves. After you read how the artists re-created the sounds of nature, write a few paragraphs in the Web Links Activity Log describing how you might re-create some everyday sounds, such as footsteps or a creaking door. Then try your Foley work out on a friend. Does it sound realistic?
