Dear
Miss Breed: Letters from Camp
This
online multimedia exhibit is part of the Japanese
American National Museum Web site. The exhibit
features postcards and letters to Clara Breed,
a librarian in San Diego, California, from her
Japanese American friends who were incarcerated
in U.S. concentration camps during World War II.
With a small group of classmates, discuss why
you think Miss Breed kept the letters and why
her friend donated them to the museum.
Traditional
