Use groups of 3.
Materials: 25 index cards
Pair 'em Up

Copy one fraction from below onto each of the index cards. Shuffle the cards and deal all of the cards to the three players. One player will have one more card than the other two. Do not show the other players your cards.

The object of the game is for players to make pairs by finding two equivalent fractions. You may use scratch paper to help you determine the equivalent fractions. Lay any pairs from your hand beside you. Now, hold your cards in front of you being careful not to let the other players see the fractions on your remaining cards. Decide who will be player 1, player 2, and payer 3. Player 1 should choose a card from player 2's hand. If player 1 has a pair with this new card, he or she should lay the pair down. Player 2 then takes a card from player 3's hand. If player 2 has a pair, he or she should lay the pair down. Play continues until only 1 card remains in a player's hand. The leftover card has no pair.

A player scores 2 points for each pair. The player with the leftover card must subtract 1 point from their score. Repeat the game until one player has accumulated 20 points. This player is the winner.
