Use groups of 2.
Materials: 12 index cards, notebook paper
X Marks the Answer

Each group member should draw a three by three grid on a sheet of paper. Copy the list of fractions, List 1, below onto your grid. Note that each player will choose any arrangement of fractions using only 9 of the 12 fractions. Each box should contain one fraction. You may arrange the fractions any way that you would like on your grid. All players should end up with different grids.

Copy one expression from List 2 onto each index card. Shuffle the cards and lay them face down. Turn the first card in the deck over. Each group member should find the product of the expression. If the product is listed on your grid, put an X over the square. The first player to get three Xs in a row, column, or diagonal wins.
