The Possibility of Divisibility
|
Decide which number cube will stand for digits in hundreds place, which number cube will stand for digits in tens place, and which number cube will stand for digits in ones place. Label equal sections of a spinner "2," "3," "5," "6," "9," and "10." Write these same numbers as headings on a sheet of paper.
Each group member tosses a number cube at the same time. One group member then spins the spinner. If the three-digit number resulting from tossing the number cubes is divisible by the number on the spinner, write the number under the matching heading. Continue in the same way, taking turns at the spinner, until you have written at least one example of a divisible number under each heading.
