The Path Not Taken

Each group member copies onto a separate sheet of paper the figure shown below.

Find a path that leads from each circled number on the left to a number on the right. Add or subtract the mixed number each time to move from box to box. You may move up, down, left, or right. Use a different color to trace each path. After ten minutes, group members compare their results. Award yourself 1 point for each correct path. The group member with the highest score wins.
