Colorful Figures

Each partner cuts out a 5 × 5 section of grid paper. On one set of cards copy the following percents, one per card: 32%, 8%, 24%, 16%, 20%. Shuffle the cards and stack them face down. On a second set of cards write the following colors, one per card: red, blue, green, yellow, black. Shuffle the cards and stack them face down.

One partner selects the top card from each stack. Using the color shown on one card, each partner colors the percent of his or her grid shown on the other card. Continue in this way, taking turns selecting cards, until all the squares on your grid are completely filled.
