Do Few View?

Survey twelve people about their television watching habits. Record the answers to the following questions in a frequency table. Then write the frequency of each response as a fraction.

  • In which of the following time periods do you normally watch at least one-half hour of television: before school, after school and before dinner, after dinner?
  • Which of the following types of programs do you like to watch: sporting events, shows about fishing, situation comedies, movies, music videos, news programs?

Write a report on television viewing habits using the data you collected. Do not use fractions in your report. Instead, describe the data using the terms all, about all, about half, only a few, and more.
