String Thing |
Cut two 1-meter-long pieces of string.
In this game, the sum of the circumferences of circles you draw cannot exceed 1 meter. In each round, each partner writes on a card the measure in centimeters of the radius of a circle. Both partners flip their cards over at the same time. Then, using the same center, each partner draws on a sheet of paper a circle with the radius length shown on his or her card. Each partner takes a string, measures the circumference of his or her circle with the string, and then cuts off the length of the circumference. The partner with the larger circle wins the round, provided that this partner has enough string to measure the circumference of the circle. Try to win more rounds than your partner before you run out of string.
