The Name Game |
Label equal sections of each of three spinners with the group member's first names. Find the theoretical probability that the same name will appear on each spinner when the spinners are spun at the same time.
Each group member spins a spinner. Repeat this procedure fifty times. Then find the experimental probability that one name will appear on all three spinners at the same time. Find the experimental probability for seventy-five and one hundred spins of all three spinners. Write a description of your results. What happens to the experimental probability as the number of spins increases?
