Measure for Measure

Label the sections of a spinner "2," "3," "4," and "5." Copy onto cards the following measures, one per card: 10 cm, 25 cm, 50 cm, and 100 cm.

One group member spins the spinner. This tells the number of different objects the group is to measure. Another group member selects a card. The card tells what the combined length of your group's objects should equal.

Find objects for each combined length. Compare your results with those of other groups. Which group's combined length came closest to its target length?
