Use groups of 4.
Materials: Yardstick
|
What's the Difference? |
In turn, each group member stands with his or her back against a wall or door frame while another group member places a yardstick level with the top of his or her head. Each group member 's height is then measured and recorded.
Make three bar graphs. One graph should compare group member' heights as accurately as possible. Another graph should make the differences in height seem less than they actually are. The final graph should make the differences in height seem greater than they actually are.
Compare your results with those of other groups.
