Money Matters |
Survey at least twenty people. Give each person being surveyed an index card and have him or her write the following information at the top of the card: name, age, and M for male or F for female. Ask, "Which famous American's portrait appears on the following bills: $1, $5, $10, $20, $100?" (The correct answers appear below.)
One partner makes a table that can be used for quickly determining whether more males or females know the portraits on U.S. money. The other partner makes a table that can be used for quickly determining whether there is a relationship between one's age and the number of portraits one can correctly identify.
