Materials: 3 different colored number cubes, spinner
Sizing It Up

Let one number cube represent length, another width, and the third height. Divide the spinner into three equal-sized sections. Label one section on the spinner Surface Area and the other section Volume.

One player begins by rolling the number cubes and spinning the spinner. If the spinner lands on Surface Area, the player must find the surface area of a box with the dimensions shown on the cubes. If the spinner lands on Volume, the player must find the volume of a box with the dimensions shown on the cubes. The other player checks the answer and awards 1 point if it is correct. If the first player's answer is found to be incorrect, one point is awarded to the second player. Play continues with the second player rolling the number cubes and spinning the spinner. Play several rounds. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
