Use groups of 2.
Materials: Protractor
Angles Aplenty

Copy onto a sheet of paper the headings "Acute," "Right," and "Obtuse."

Find as many examples of each type of angle as possible in 10 minutes. Write the location and measure of each angle you find under one of the headings. For example under "Acute" you might write "angle formed by classroom door and wall--25°."

Compare your findings with those of other pairs.
