Group Activity Cards
|
Use groups of 3.
Materials: Paper, index card, colored pencils, ruler, compass, protractor, calculator
|
Survey Says |
As a group, decide on a question to ask the class that requires students to choose amongst five different answer choices.
| Example: |
Which food do you like the most?
(a) pizza
(b) hamburgers
(c) tacos
(d) fried chicken
(e) none of the above |
Then, survey the class.
Find the percent of girls in the class that chose each answer. Then find the percent of boys in the class that chose each answer. Use this information to make two circle graphs. Be sure each graph has a title and that the sections of the graph are labeled appropriately. Write three questions about your graphs on an index card. Include the answer to each question on the back of the card.
Exchange graphs and questions with another group. Use their graphs to answer each question. Check your answers with those on the back of the other group's card.
