Once Around

Copy onto a large sheet of paper (or several smaller sheets taped together) the game board shown below. Make sure that a counter will fit in each box.

Each group member places a counter on the "Start" square. In turn, each group member rolls a number cube and moves his or her counter the number of spaces indicated. Write the value of the squares you land on on a separate sheet of paper. Do not toss the number cube after you have passed the "Start" square for a second time. Find the sum of the values of the squares you landed on. The winner is the group member with the greatest sum. Play several rounds.
