A Winning Combination |
Write each of the letters "A," "B," "C," "D," "E," and "F" on ten index cards. Shuffle the cards and divide them evenly. Decide which group member will go first.
One group member places a card face up. The group member to his or her left places a card showing a different letter face up. The last group member then places a card showing a third letter face up. These three cards represent a three-letter combination of the six letters you wrote on the cards. Taking turns going first, continue to make combinations in the same way. Leave the cards showing combinations face up so that you can refer to them. If you cannot play a card that makes a combination, the group member to your left gets a chance. If he or she cannot play a card, the group member to his or her left gets a chance. Try to be the first to play all of your cards.
