Lines at Work |
In groups of 2, find a career in which a person would use perpendicular and parallel lines. You may use resource books, the Internet, magazines, or any other source available to you.
Begin by describing the career. What does a person with this career do? How does this person use perpendicular and parallel lines in their work? Describe at least two specific examples. Do people in this career construct perpendicular and parallel lines? If so, what tools do they use?
Finally, write a short report about this career or prepare a presentation on this career. If possible, interview a person that does this type of work.
