Copy onto cards the numbers and equations shown below. Decide which partner will be the dealer.

The dealer shuffles the cards and deals five to himself or herself and five to his or her partner. The dealer then places the remaining cards face down in a pile. Each partner removes any pairs from his or her hand. (A pair is an equation and its solution.) In turn, partners try to make additional pairs by asking each other questions about the cards they are holding. If you guess a card in your partner's hand, take the card, remove the pair from your hand, and ask another question. If you do not guess correctly, take a card from the pile. If you can form a pair using the card you selected from the pile, remove the pair from your hand. The partner with the most pairs is the winner.
