 Suppose that you and your partner are in charge of building the props for a play about mathematics students who have accidentally been shrunk. The designer of the production has determined that the ratio of real-world objects to props should be 3:10.
Props must be made for the following real-world objects.
- your math book
- a ruler
- an index card
Determine the length and width in centimeters of each of these three props by using proportions.
