Use groups of 2.
Materials: Spinners
Prime Time

Label equal sections of one spinner "Factor" and "No Factor." Label equal sections of a second spinner "2," "3," "5," "7," "11," "37."

In turn, each partner spins the first spinner described above. If the spinner points to "Factor," spin the second spinner and write the resulting number. If the spinner points to "No Factor," you do not spin the other spinner and you do not write a factor for the round. Continue until each partner has spun the first spinner ten times. Then each partner multiplies the factors he or she has written, and the partners find the greatest common factor for the resulting products by multiplying the common prime factors.
