Copy onto cards the equations shown below. Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile. Decide which partner will go first.

Equations to put on cards:
	x + 34 = 52	9 + x = 20	x - 6 = 23
x + 17 = 51	x + 4.85 = 9	x = 4.85	x = 18
x + 8.7 = 19.5		14.15 + x = 19	x = 14.8
x = 29	x - 2.3 = 12.5	x = 4.15
x = 34	x = 17	x = 10.8	x = 11

Each partner begins with 50 points. In turn, each partner removes cards from the pile until he or she finds two cards containing equivalent equations. Subtract 1 point for each card taken. Combine and shuffle all the cards. Then repeat the procedure. The winner is the partner with the most points after five rounds.
