Use groups of 3. Materials: Grid paper, paper, spinner

Adding Angles

Divide the spinner into 8 equal-sized sections. Label the sections Triangle, Quadrilateral, Pentagon, Hexagon, Heptagon, Octagon, Nonagon, and Decagon.

A player begins by spinning the spinner. For example, if the spinner lands on "Triangle", the player should find 3 angle measures that could be used to draw a triangle. The other two players should check the answer by finding the sum of the measures and by drawing the triangle on grid paper.

Play several rounds making sure that no players use the same measurements for any of the polygons.
