Quad Squad

Work in pairs. Each pair makes a log by writing the following words as headings on a sheet of paper: rectangle, rhombus, trapezoid.

After you have read the directions for this activity, decide on a reasonable time limit, such as 5 minutes.

Look around the classroom and in newspapers and magazines to find examples of things that suggest quadrilaterals. Each pair writes as many examples of each type of quadrilateral as possible in the predetermined amount of time.
