A Winning Combination |
Write each of the digits 1 through 7 on fifteen index cards. Shuffle the cards and divide them evenly. Decide which group member will go first.
One group member places a card face up. In turn, beginning with the group member to the first group member's left, each of the other group members places face up a card that shows a different digit. The three digits on these cards show one three-digit combination of the seven digits you wrote on the cards. Taking turns going first, continue to make three-digit combinations in the same way. Leave the cards showing combinations you have already formed face up so that you can refer to them. At any time, if you cannot play a card that makes a combination, the group member to your left gets a chance. If this group member cannot play a card either, the third group member gets a chance. Try to be the first to play all of your cards.
