Positive or Negative?

Copy onto cards the letters shown on the number line below. Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile. Copy onto a sheet of paper the number line below.

One partner selects a card and tells the absolute value of the coordinate to which it corresponds. The other partner looks at the number line and then guesses the point on his or her partner's card. A correct guess is worth 1 point. Trading roles each time, continue in the same way until all of the cards have been used.
