Net a Cylinder

Each group member uses the figure shown below to draw a net for a cylinder on construction paper. Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dashed lines, and tape the tabs.

Each group member should share his or her model with the group. Tell the circumference of the circle you used, the height of the rectangle, and the total surface area.
